Edafotec participates this year too in the programme Principia, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia. The main objective of the project is the promotion of R+D+i activities framed in strategic areas for Galicia (RIS3) through staff hiring in order to promote their professional career, as well as stimulating the demand in the public and private sectors for sufficiently qualified staff. El pasado 26 de septiembre se reunió el consorcio del proyecto MYCOTECNOSOLES II, que tiene como objetivo la elaboración de suelos artificiales inoculados con hongos para descontaminar y convertir en productivos suelos afectados por la extracción de pizarra. La reunión que contó con la presencia de miembros de HIFAS DA TERRA, EDAFOTEC, CVAN y SELGA se realizó con el fin de planificar la presentación de resultados del proyecto, que en la actualidad se encuentra en su año final....

Last Monday, 7 May, at EDAFOTEC we signed a long-term collaboration agreement with the Institute of Geology at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), to carry out research and market projects in Mexico. The projects will be specifically developed with Dr Christina Siebe and Blanca Prado, from the institution’s Department of Soil Science, with extensive experience in the of restoration of degraded areas. EDAFOTEC is proud to work with professors Siebe and Prado, throughout our development in the Mexican market....
