Edafotec participates in the Connect SMEs Programme, which grants aid for the implementation of RD&I collaboration projects between companies in strategic areas for Galicia. The project, called "Application of new mycotecnosoils and mycorrhizal fungi for the bioremediation of soils disturbed and contaminated by slate mining for their rehabilitation as productive ecosystems (MYCOTECNOSOILSII) "is subsidized by the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) and is 80% co-financed by the European Fund for Rural Development, under the operational programme ERDF Galicia 2014-2020 (OT 1: Promote technological development, innovation and quality research). Edafotec Suelos a la Carta has had a subsidiary in Lima, peruPeru, since May 2015. Denominated EDAFOTEC Suelos a la Carta SAC, it is 100% owned by our parent company and will focus on solutions for the mine closure, through the use of proprietary technologies.
