MYCO-TECHNOSOLS: FORMULATION AND DEVELOPMENT DESIGN OF TECHNOSOLS FOR THE BIO-REMEDIATION OF SOILS CONTAMINATED BY HYDROCARBONS AND HEAVY METALS THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DIFFERENT SPECIES OF FUNGI   The activities of storage, transfer or distribution of hydrocarbons usually generate discharges into the environment. The problem is not limited to large pipelines and storage areas, but also to the further distribution of refined products. Often, oil pollution is accompanied by other pollutants such as heavy metals, as used in roads, mining projects, industrial facilities, etc. The proximity of these areas to population centres and the high toxicity and persistence of these pollutants requires the development of strategies to remediate soil contaminated by these compounds.
