Ravines survey (Angola)

Formation of ravines in the province of Uige, Angola

Ravines are morphogenetic processes caused by nature or human action, due to the alteration of slopes, as well as the extraction of edaphic material and the elimination of cover vegetation, altering the runoff patterns of surface waters.

In the province of Uige, north of Angola, they have been caused by the execution of poorly planned public works, which did not take into account the existing water courses, nor the edaphic characteristics of the region.
