Rehabilitation of gunite-coated surfaces (Spain)
The project consisted of making an artificial soil covering over a surface area of gunite-covered slopes, in the vicinity of Bakio (Bizkaia), in work carried out by the Regional Council.
A study of the physical environment of the affected area was undertaken, which served as the basis for the design of a specific artificial soil. Likewise, a study of the water inlets was carried out, as well as their analysis.
The project ended with the laying of the artificial soil and the monitoring of its evolution over a period of one year.
